Crispy Shredded Tofu Chik'n 🔥

The most popular VSK recipe of 2024 and one of the best ways to enjoy tofu

This is by far one of the best recipes on the blogs. Since posting last year, thousands of folks have made it the positive feedback has been overwhelming. This method produces a crispy yet tender tofu that is perfectly seasoned and greta for just about anything, salads, sandwiches, curries, you name it. Lets’ get right into it:

FULL RECIPE

ingredients

1 block super firm tofu

4-6 tbsp olive oil

1/2 tsp salt

black pepper to taste

1 tbsp smoked paprika

preheat your oven to 450F (NOTE: this may be too high of heat for some ovens, so if you’re concerned about it burning, either do 450F for about 15-20 minutes, or try a lower temp like 425F for 30 minutes).

shred your block of tofu with a cheese grater. add to a parchment lined baking tray along with olive oil, salt, pepper, and smoked paprika. mix together and level the tofu shreds out into one large sheet. bake for 30 mins. remove from the oven and allow to cool 10 mins. roll up the tofu sheet and thinly slice across into fine pieces. enjoy, my friends 🙏
